Housed within atmospheric Peterson House, an inviting sandstone homestead with soaring timber ceilings, the aptly named Cuvee draws crowds for sparkling – fuelled breakfasts and leisurely lunches. Outside, the sun drenched deck is the place to be, as views of the cottage gardens and lantern strung trees add to the charm. There's much to like about the menu, too, which spans light snappy salads to steaks with a shiraz reduction. A fabulous duck confit salad, cut by orange, micro cress and red wine vinegar, is the perfect balanch to the rich, flakey meat and gentle acidic bite.
