Shiraz Noir - Inspired by Film Noir, The Vintry pays homage to the cinematic era of stylish Hollywood crime dramas. Film Noir was Hollywood's classic film period stretching from the early 1940's to the late 1950's.

Shiraz Noir is a red wine from The Vintry. Its inspiration is Film Noir and it has been made available exlusively to lovers of film and independent cinema.  

Deep purple black in colour, opaque. Purple, red hue at rim indicating youthfulness and spirit. Viscous, almost syrupy and of course, with great legs.

The nose is very feminine. Fragant, perfumed, alluring and seductive. Yes, that is Shiraz Noir in a word, seductive. Rose petal lifting to truffle, mocha and chocolate notes. This wine, like its star, captures your attention then draws you in with her sultry knowing and smokiness.

Shiraz Noir is rich and opulent. Mid weight on the palate with medium intensity of ripe, red berry fruit. Red currant, cloves, light liquorice root/star anise with a touch of white pepper. Medium to long in length, finishing clean and drawing you in once again for another taste ......
