Shiraz Noir - is a deep, brooding, purple black and inky wine from The Vintry. Feminine, fragrant, perfumed, alluring and seductive. The femme fatale. Seductive, mystic, sultry and sensual. Our iconic shiraz pays homage to the cinematic era of stylish Hollywood crime dramas. Film Noir was Hollywood's classic film period stretching from the early 1940's to the late 1950's.    

Deep purple black in colour, opaque. Purple, red hue at rim indicating youthfulness and spirit. Viscous, almost syrupy and of course, with great legs.

The nose is very feminine. Fragant, perfumed, alluring and seductive. Yes, that is Shiraz Noir in a word, seductive. Rose petal lifting to truffle, mocha and chocolate notes. This wine, like its star, captures your attention then draws you in with her sultry knowing and smokiness.

Shiraz Noir is rich and opulent. Mid weight on the palate with medium intensity of ripe, red berry fruit. Red currant, cloves, light liquorice root/star anise with a touch of white pepper. Medium to long in length, finishing clean and drawing you in once again for another taste ......
