Hunter Valley Weddings

What better place for your wedding than being surrounded by the beauty of Hunter Valley Wine Country. Spectacular views, mountains and the seasonal palette of the vineyards will provide the perfect backdrop and atmosphere for your wedding.

The Vintry provides the perfect accommodation for the bride to be and her parents, or the groom and his family to stay for their Hunter Valley Wedding.

With four (4) bedrooms, one king size bedroom with hydrotherapy spa and three (3) queen size bedrooms, each with their own ensuite bathroom and terrace, The Vintry caters for up to eight (8) adults. One of the rooms can be modified to become two (2) king single beds adding further flexibility.

As we strive to achieve environmental and social sustainability, there are no functions to be held at The Vintry and we allow a maximum of 8 adults at the house.

Having had our own wedding in Pokolbin whilst living in Sydney at the time, we understand there is a lot of planning required for the destination wedding and with this experience, and the experience of our previous guests, we have prepared The Vintry to take the worry out of your accommodation needs.

The relaxing alternative for your Lovedale, Hunter Valley Wedding with stunning vineyard and mountain surrounds. At Tatler we strive to give you an exciting and memorable experience that will long live in your memory. Forget the traditional three course menu and savor the delights of magnificent Mediterranean cuisine served tapas style.

Tatler has stunning vineyard surrounds, a picturesque dam (perfect for your ceremony), manicured lawns and gardens and the spectacular Brokenback Ranges complete the backdrop.

The Café caters for up to 60 guests for a seated function or up to 120 guests cocktail style. We can cater for up to 400 guests for a function under marquee.

We have a number of different function centres that can cater for up to 120 guests and provide first-class facilities, which can be tailored to suit any style of wedding celebration. At Hunter Valley Gardens we pride ourselves on our attention to detail and ensuring you receive professional and attentive service at all times.

Upon booking your wedding at Hunter Valley Gardens a dedicated Wedding Coordinator is on hand to assist you with your planning and ensure that all expectations are exceeded on the day. When looking at catering needs, several menu options are available for you to choose and our experienced, highly qualified Executive Chef will ensure that all meals are impeccably cooked and presented.

You will find a number of different available options for your Special Ceremony. The Gardens Chapel, with a seating capacity for 150 guests, features stunning views of the Brokenback Ranges and overlooks two lakes. The side courtyard is perfect for gathering together after the Chapel ceremony or it can also provide a beautiful alternative if you prefer an outdoor ceremony. However, if your preference is for a "garden wedding," the property features many areas to make your ceremony unique and special. Please discuss your special needs with our wedding Coordinator who can guide you on the best way to make the most of the facilities on offer at Hunter Valley Gardens.

Within Hunter Valley Gardens’ 225 hectares there are numerous facilities to keep guests entertained including Harrigan’s Irish Pub, wine tasting, restaurants, aqua golf driving range, mini golf, children’s playground, picnic grounds, BBQ area and Shopping Village.

St Michaels of Wollombi

A Wedding is one of the most special occasions of our lives, and deserves a setting which enhances and adds to this memorable event. Set in the picturesque village of Wollombi, overlooking the brook and rolling country hills, the Church is a unique setting, peaceful and photogenic. The impressive sandstone building, timber pews and decorations in the Church are quite delightful.

There are few Churches left in Australia which have been maintained by their own community in such an immaculate fashion. This lovely and intimate church enhances all celebrations held there, especially weddings. 

Saint Michael’s is a Catholic Church but is happy to host marriages of all denominations and Civil Ceremonies. Wollombi is within easy driving distance of a complete range of accommodation and reception venues throughout the Wollombi Valley and Hunter Valley Wine Country.

This unique 1892 sandstone chapel has a tradition of being a very special venue for wedding ceremonies. Now fully restored, this non-denominational chapel seats approximately 130 people.
