The Vintry offers you luxury, self contained accommodation at Pokolbin in the heart of Hunter Valley Wine Country. The Vintry is a four bedroom house, each of the bedrooms has its own ensuite bathroom and private terrace and is perfect for up to 8 adults looking for a weekend get away in the Hunter Valley.

Fantastic property! Accommodation perfect for a group - rare to find a house that offers ensuite/bathroom facilities for each room. Beautiful setting, central location close to vineyards yet still providing absolute privacy. Loved the little extra touches including stocked fridge, woodfire set to go and great bathroom amenities. Would definately recommend and hope to return soon.

We had a wonderful stay at the Vintry and we would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay in the Hunter. Every comfort was provided and we particularly loved the layout of the house - it provided for each couple's own privacy, yet the lounge/dining and kitchen area is open and relaxed.

I just wanted to write and say thank you for letting us your wonderful house for my wedding. It is an absolute credit to you both and such a fabulous house! The weekend was made truly fabulous by being able to have the lawns to sit out and enjoy the winter sun and share brunch with friends and family on the Saturday. My friends and I arrived at The Vintry after a tiring journey from Sydney, to find kangaroos at the bottom of the garden to greet us. We settled in to a glass of wine sitting out on the decking, overlooking the private garden, with only us and the animals. The place was magical. Peace and tranquility all around. The house was stunning with a well equipped kitchen big enough to cater for a large group and well stocked. The owners had some lovely touches, such as complimentary fruit and breakfast food already there for us. The bedrooms are as well appointed as those you would find in any 5 star hotel. This is ideal place to wind away a weekend - and it is within walking distance of a fabulous vineyard too.

We had a fantastic time at the house and we cannot wait to return. It was a beautiful environment and a great space for us – perfect given that we ended up doing a fair bit of cooking. The bathroom in the main bedroom is spectacular. It was an all round superb experience.

We had the most wonderful weekend. The Vintry is stunning and so much more amazing than we ever imagined. Everything about The Vintry was so enjoyable. The outlook is so soothing, the lounges are so relaxing, the kitchen is a pleasure, the beds are so comfy, we didn’t want to leave, but dragged ourselves away around noon on Sunday, got as far as Audrey’s, wow what a view, and then reluctantly made our way back to Sydney. The eight of us were very impressed and will definitely be coming to stay again as a group and with other friends

We had a wonderful stay at The Vintry and we’ll definitely be back... Everyone really appreciated the quality feel of the place and the kitchen got a great work out with cooked dinners and breakfasts on both days. We loved the showers with the view outdoors.
We loved the great big table, the fire place and the lounges. The outdoor settings on each verandah are such a nice touch, especially the one down the end of the main verandah. We loved the great big front door and the open plan kitchen and living areas. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms beautifully lit.

There is so much positive feedback to give. The fruit and cheeses were much appreciated, as were the toiletries which the girls especially loved. The great big oven was well used. The attention to detail was clear, dual roller blinds to the bedrooms, disabled accommodation, great wood burning stove, sliding fly screens, pivot door, all wonderful. We will be back! Thanks again

We didn't notice the cold weather we were very comfortable and snug with that wonderful wood fire. We ate in on Thursday night then dined at Rock on Friday night and Terroir on Saturday (where we were allowed to take along my bottle of Grange to have with the degustation). Both dining experiences were excellent and the boys were even able to walk home from Rock!
The Vintry has obviously been built to catch the maximum amount of sunshine which we all really enjoyed. Your attention to detail is great, fantastic cookbooks, no shortage of wood, games to play and the pillow menu is outstanding. Thanks again to you and Kerrie

Thank you so much for helping us enjoy our weekend in the Hunter Valley. I am originally from the UK and we were entertaining some friends who were over from the UK visiting us and this was their last weekend in Australia – we had such a great time. I have lived in Sydney for 3 years and been to the Hunter several times but The Vintry is far and away the best accommodation I have stayed in. We all made comments about how nice the place was and how well it has all been designed, we even said it was a pity we had to leave the place to go out it was so nice!.
My partner and I really noticed all the nice touches with the furnishings you have used and particularly as we have just moved into our house we were able to get some useful ideas at what things would work in our place. Greg – it has been a pleasure to deal with you and we will definitely be coming back again in the future and we certainly look forward to trying you wine. We will also be telling all our friends that they must come and try it! Thanks again.

The place was fantastic. Everyone commented on how much they loved the place. It really met our needs. Everyone was extremely impressed with the architecture of the place as well. The gourmet kitchen was fantastic and I had a few comments that everyone loved the beds.
